This is a decent, elegantly crafted supernatural film, a Spanish-language equivalent in quality and tone to, say, The Conjuring 2. Just do not buy into the, "Is this the scariest movie ever?" angle BuzzFeed-type sites are randomly pushing. It has a few potent jolts and a modestly eerie atmosphere, but even the most casual horror fans will be able to go right to bed after watching this and sleep snugly.

This is a generic-but-decent movie with great atmosphere. Its not scary but the director keeps the things interesting and creepy enough using the settings effectively. Aside from the mother everyone gives great performance specially the kids and ofcourse Sandra Escacena, who carries the film well. The ending comes in very quickly and the movie could have done well with a few more scares.
