Paddington 2
Quote: Paddington 2 is a 2017 British live-action/CGI animated adventure comedy film directed by Paul King and written by King and Simon Farnaby. Based on the stories of the character Paddington Bear created by Michael Bond, it is the sequel to the 2014 film Paddington and is produced by Heyday Films and StudioCanal.
The film stars Ben Whishaw as the voice of the titular character, alongside Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi and Hugh Grant in live action roles.

Paddington 2
It's another winner. Paddington 2 is just adorable. The animation is even better this time around, and Hugh Grant produces a dastardly protagonist to make this sequel stand out when the comic charms of the titular hero wear.

Super cute and funny. On par with the first, maybe even a tad better. Hugh Grant is great and the ending is adorable. A-

Re: Paddington 2
Paddington 2 is being unfairly categorized as a kids movie! Sure, on a superficial level it is going to become an all-time children's classic film, however the sophisticated humor employed by the clever screenplay is only ever going to be fully enjoyed by adults. Paddington 2 is an outright masterpiece. The animation and the real world set design are astoundingly beautiful, I wish I could have seen it on an IMAX screen. Best of all: this is the Empire Strikes Back of the series - Paddington goes deep, deep into the dark side in this one. The cast features a wide array of British cinema royalty ably backed by vast chorus lines of ne'er-do-wells. I still can't stop smiling from the charm explosion that is Paddington 2. *A+*
(The mid-credits extra scene is a must see.)
(I'm happy that I'm finally getting to watch the last few of the 2017 films, and luckily I haven't finalized my 2017 Top Ten list yet, because Paddington 2 is the best movie I've seen this past year.)

Re: Paddington 2
Excellent film. A. There's honestly nothing to criticize, just as with the original.
Paddington and Paddington 2 are certainly among the best all-around great films this decade, in my opinion.

Re: Paddington 2
Agree with rest of the reviews here. This is such a fun and great movie to watch with the entire family. Everything about this film is great and I hope we get to see another entry. Some of the funny bits are a bit too over-the-top but they didn't hinder my experience.

I gave the first Paddington a B+.
This takes everything I liked about it and multiplies it by 1000. It is such a wonderful movie and everyone should see it. In this world, even Hugh Grant’s irredeemable villain character gets a happy ending in prison.

Re: Paddington 2
Thought I'd watch this again since when I saw it at the cinema I was getting drowsy in the second half. It's adorable and delightful, and just as good as the first. A
Look forward to the third film, and hope the villain again steals the show. Grant is magnificent.
