I enjoyed the performances and while the story is predictable the reveals are not handled well. The conflicts are not deep enough for a movie like this to land the transformation. Liam and his son Micheál do really well to carry the movie and emotions, you can feel from the beginning that there is a conflict and long lost love among these two before the emotional aspects even start to kick in. End of Sentence did the same thing a little better and while both movies do not handle main conflicts well, Made In Italy is bogged down with a lousy predictable script and resolution. The location and backdrops of Italy are great as expected.
