Post Re: Thor: Ragnarok
Age of Ultron is pretty great up until the final battle, which goes on way too long. And with Scarlet Witch, The Vision and Quicksilver joining the team there is never much of threat that Ultron will succeed.

Atleast Ultron can take out all the Avengers 1 on 1 though, unlike puny Steppenwolf. :P

I sometimes forget Ultron happened altogether

No it's not.

Have you seen Justice League?

Have you? ;)

Surprisingly yes. I went in ready to hate it and was surprised by had modestly good it was. Just about the most fun time I had at the movies this year despite the obviously issues with the film. I disliked BvS and Man of Steel Suicide Squad that much

There is no point comparing Ultron to JL. Ultron was not a great movie and it came well before so its natural that people don't remember things from it, plus its also the matter of personal preference. You can enjoy MCU but still prefer/love/want DCEU to succeed or vice versa, based on your preference you are sure to remember more from one series than the other.

Oh, MCU eat the DCU for breakfast.

But enough about that. Ragnarok was much better than Justice League.

It was much better than the first two Thors. The first half of the movie was interesting. The second half was more generic, but not bad. But among recent Marvel flicks, I’d only rank it above Doctor Strange.

I am surprised people think so low about DS.

I still like how the movie has more of an identity than most Marvel cookie cutters

I enjoyed this a lot. I thought the action scenes were some of the best for Marvel in a while, Hulk vs Thor was great and some of the other scenes like the fighting at the end and both uses of Immigrant Song. Obviously some entertaining comic beets (My favorite was Bruce Banner's scenes) Tessa Thompson weirdly felt like a better actress playing British than American in a show like Westworld. A strong MCU

We finally get a great Thor movie. A lot of it should not work but it does thanks for Watiti's handling. The story is great and not focusing on too many side stories it works well. The two arcs of extending MCU and bringing Hulk and second main story of Blanchett's Helo and Ragnarok are muxed really well in the finale which is also the reason why this works so well. I do wish Hela would not have been edited this much but then the movie would have lost the cool bits of Goldblum here.
