Re: Killing Gunther
I enjoyed this, but I understand completely if people don't like it. Schwarzenegger is barely in it until the third act, and a lot of your enjoyment of it will come from whether you like the humor from the team. I got quite a few laughs out of it, but you can tell it needed a bigger budget, because the CGI is really bad in some scenes, and I hope they don' think they were being clever with that blatantly obvious Schwarzenegger stunt double lol. I'm thinking it had to be intentional though.

Killing Gunther
Arnold is having fun. It is great to see him in various different disguises in an irritating spin on the Predator theme, 'the hunters become the hunted', and it picks up when Arnold arrives at the 67th minute, but this is a pretty crap film. No idea why Arnold agreed to be in this (though I see he has an executive producer credit). It has terribly unfunny humour and really bad CGI blood. The whole thing is just so shoddy. It is meant to be hand-held camera/found footage in style, but one can't help think this wasn't solely a stylistic choice. The film feels cheap until Arnold shows up. Talking of choices, Arnold's since coming back to movies haven't been good. His legacy also plagues this film, though that's the least of its problems. The only thing it has going for it besides Arnold is Hannah Simone. She's smoking hot! Not a good directorial debut for Taran Killam.

Re: Killing Gunther
What a wonderful surprise this was. I loved Killing Gunther, it is so fucking funny. The mockumentary style makes it so much better, really relishing in the characters reactions to their failures rather than the chaos that comes from them. Arnold doesn't show up until the end, but my goodness, he makes every minute of his time count and still manages to steal an already great movie (the poison guy was my fav before that.)

And its too bad Tarren Killam fizzled out cause he clearly has some good ideas in that head.
