Prevenge is a 2016 British comedy slasher film written by, directed by and starring Alice Lowe in her directorial debut.
The film is about a pregnant woman - Ruth - whose partner died in a climbing accident when he was cut loose by the rest of his group. Ruth becomes convinced that her foetus is compelling her to murder and she tracks down the other people who were involved in the climbing accident for revenge.
The film was released in cinemas in February 2017.[3]
The majority of Prevenge was filmed in Cardiff in under two weeks whilst Alice Lowe was herself pregnant.

Prevenge
Alice Howe is a talent. Humorous but within a second can be a fierce, scary antagonist. This dark comedy is yet another example of brilliant British independent filmmakers at work. I liked the original score by Toydrum. And I appreciated seeing Jo Hartley - an underrated actress - twice within a year (she was also in David Brent: Life on the Road).
