You can probably use Kodi to stream the shitty cam print but I would recommend to watch the movie once in theater specially if you liked the original.

I would never watch a film illegally unless it were unavailable legally. Like the 1934 Cleopatra I had to watch for my class. Or Song of the South if someone ever posted it.

I just thought this person was an ethical person and never thought they would try to get us all to watch it illegally.

Streaming/downloading guerilla style recordings used to be a big deal. Now its mostly pointless since the movie will be out on blu ray in 2 months and you can rent it for a $1.

Considering its a major tentpole, there is surprisingly little discussion of GOTG2.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

A very fun and entertaining adventure comedy, but it plays as nothing more than a procedural follow-up. The first was refreshing and fun. This is fun but no longer that refreshing. It is cool and made with aplomb, but it is impossible to maintain the freshness of the first. The group's banter has increased, which is endearing and does have some laugh out loud moments (Mini Groot, for example, is adorable and funny - something that he wasn't in the first!). So, yeah, overall it has some great jokes, banter, songs, and action, and it has Tango & Cash (!), which is excellent even if Tango feels out of place (the Stallone growl is so identifiable that he cannot simply slip into a Marvel film without his reputation and persona hitting you first). But the film does not have a great villain, and it loses something being yet another parent-linking origin plot (Martha in BvS, Stark's mum in Civil War). Though making Kurt Russell forty years younger is so impressive! Congrats to the visual effects crew. And Kudos on Yondu dying. Now I just hope he stays dead. Quite a rarity for a Marvel film. Though they also milked it quite a bit. I didn't like how Nebula and Gamora become friends. Very Marvel-esque. So overall it is a good film (still one of the best MCU films) but not as good as the awesome first.

I saw the Kraglin mid-credits scene but frustratingly I did not stay to see the Stallone post-credits scene.

I was surprised to see David Hasselhoff in the film. But I actually hated him being in it. It spoils the film's purity in a way. Ving Rhames and Michelle Yeoh are cool cameos, though. Regarding the songs, they were good but not as good as the first. ELO's "Mr Blue Sky" is probably the standout track.

I really liked it. It's not fresh like the first, but I liked the characters more in this, especially the new characters. Mantis was really funny and the actress is insanely gorgeous. Drax is really funny with her. Baby Groot isn't in it much, I felt his bit was spoiled too much by the trailers. The twist at the end I did not see coming with the father having killed his mom, but it didn't really feel earned since we'd not met Ego for very long. I think they should have found a way to introduce him in the last film.

Probably Marvel's best film two.

Marvel's best film two is most definitely Winter Soldier.

Nah. That stank. The best second-in-a-series MCU film is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. All the rest have stank. Iron Man 2, Thor: The Dark World, The Winter Soldier, Age of Ultron...all shit.

GotG2 is not as good as TWS unless at many levels but each to his own.

I'd have to rewatch TWS, but I'm pretty sure it was overrated.

TWS is much more re-watchable than GotG2 and I've seen both movies multiple times.

That's nothing. I had to sit through Citizen Kane.

I enjoyed it around the same as the first, which is to say quite a bit. The central characters are just terrific; the actors snugly fit their roles, the chemistry is electric, they earn both laughs and emotional investment, etc. And it is fun to spend time in this colorful, idiosyncratic, galactic-pop-art-on-LSD world. There are minor pacing issues, a few bits of heavy-handed exposition, etc., but I have no major complaints and would give the film a healthy B+.

I was pleased with the film. Mainly because I laughed a ton. Plot didn't have much until the last act. And it kinda had a lot of similar final fight beats as... Man of Steel. Though the effects weren't top notch. I really wish, as someone mentioned, there would've been some kind of chewy flashback of Yondu/Peter. Their final moment could've been great with more substance.

My girlfriend and I both agree. This works better if it was built up more. Peter find dear old dad real too fast

I saw this again today with a friend who wanted to and while I liked it a bit more and it's definitely not a bad movie by any means it just falls so short of the original film. The last half hour just drags and drags.

Pretty good MCU film. I didn't find it as funny as the first but Drax, Baby Groot, etc. still had their moments and the father storyline worked with Ego and Yondu. Mantis was a nice addition.

Peter's actions in Infinity War make more sense after seeing this. His father killed his mother to take over the universe, then he saw Thanos do the same thing with the only other girl he loved and he just lost it

This is more funny than the first and has better graphics but its not as smooth and organic as the first movie and Ego's conflict with Peter does not give the team chance to work together. The better bits are than on Yondu's side story with Taserface and Elizabeth Debicki's story. The whole team keeps talking about friends and family and they do bicker like one but the story never allows them to show that on screen. A big step down from the original
