Quote:
Finding Nemo is an American computer-animated comedy-drama film written and directed by Andrew Stanton, released by Walt Disney Pictures on May 30, 2003, and the fifth film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It tells the story of the over-protective clownfish named Marlin (Albert Brooks) who, along with a regal tang named Dory (Ellen DeGeneres), searches for his abducted son Nemo (Alexander Gould) in Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and let Nemo take care of himself. It is Pixar's first movie to be released in cinemas in the northern hemisphere summer. The film was re-released for the first time in 3D on September 14, 2012, and it will be released on Blu-ray for the first time on December 4, 2012.

The film received extremely positive reviews and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. It was the second highest-grossing film of 2003, behind The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, earning a total of $890 million worldwide. Finding Nemo is also the best-selling DVD of all time, with over 40 million copies sold as of 2006, and was the highest-grossing G-rated film of all time, before Pixar's own Toy Story 3 overtook it. It is also the 4th highest-grossing animated film of all time and the 24th highest-grossing film of all time.

In 2008, the American Film Institute named it the tenth greatest animated film ever made during their Top 10.

A sequel is currently in development, and is to be released in 2016.

Very funny movie. Best character is Doreen (Degeneres ??). Not better than Toy Story however.

Best Pixar film to date. So rich in animation and story, it's breathtaking. Miles and miles better than the last animated film that came out... *cough*the steaming pile of crap that was Shark Tale*cough*

Great, lovable film! The characters are amazingly good and well-acted. The Disney channel, though, spoiled most of this movie for me by showing almost every scene in its commercials.

Grade: 90.6 , A-

One of the finest animated movies ever, second to Beauty and the Beast. I feel it got snubbed for a best picture nomiation last year...(should have taken Seabiscuits and Big Fish take Master and Commanders...but we will not have that discussoin now). Show tha Pixar has the ability to make a funny movie with heart..not resort to fart jokes and have no emotional value at all...I am looking at you Shrek, Ice Age and Shark Tale.

I believe this was Pixar's second worst movie (ahead of A Bug's Life), but that doesn't say a lot, because I gave the film an A-/B+. I thought it was great, but not a very rewatchable film. Dori made the film, but aside from that, nothing I truly would want to watch over and over, unlike Toy Story 1 and 2 and Monsters Inc. Shark Tale is a disgrace, compared to Nemo.

I would have to agree Mr. X. Nemo is by far my favorite Pixar film, Disney film, and animated film to date, and I know it sits comfortably somehwere in my top twenty of all time. If I could, I'd have the movie running constantly, over and over again, because it is, IMO, one of the MOST rewatchable movies I've ever seen.

I really really liked this movie. In case you couldn't tell...

A+

I'm not a big fan of animated films, but this surprised me, in a positive way. I actually found myself laughing and I actually enjoyed it. I still think it's a bit overrated, but it's a fun little movie.
