Finally (?) watched this. What a horrible film. I'm kind of surprised at the mixed-to-above average reviews in the thread. I was so bored by it. It's extremely unappealing to look at, the PG-13 rating kills any potential, and Max Thierot is about as far from a horror movie villain as I've probably seen so far.

This is that odd horror movie credit that most big names have early on in their career that makes you go "Really? That? Well I guess work was work". Not to say Jennifer Lawrence isn't really good, much better than the film deserves. She would be the only reason to check this one out. But her talents aren't strong enough to save this from being a snoozefest.
