 Re: Paddington in Peru
This is another lovely entry but it is definitely not as heart warning as last entry or the original. The overall film felt a little rushed at action sequences but slow during rest of the scenes. Paddington still remains the anchor to this film and provide all heart but it was Colman's nun that evoked lol moments and reminded of Julie Andrew's in Sound of Music, the rest of the cast is good (specially Banderas) but don't get much to do. The antagonists are fun which keeps this lift hearted.
3.5/5

 Re: Paddington in Peru
Classic Paddington shenanigans mixed with the plot of Godzilla vs Kong 2. It's a good movie, though doesn't quite live up to the brilliance of Paddington Part Two. I usually like Emily Mortimer, but she kinda felt like an intruder here and I wish they would have just thrown a couple extra 0s onto the end of Sally Hawkins' check. Banderas' character is hit and miss, but Olivia Coleman at least brings the goods and matches Grant and Kidman as a vintage Paddington villain. I'll give Paddington a 6.9/10. There and back again. I'll happily take more entries in the series though.

 Re: Paddington in Peru
Paddington remains charming and cozy as ever, however Sally Hawkins was sorely missed here. The stakes felt a bit lower in this film versus the second film, and the villains aren’t quite as good as Hugh Grant, but the change of scenery was welcome and overall it was very funny.
