Re: Saw VI
I tend to pretend he did die at the end, considering how mediocre Saw 3D is. I still love VI -- it has a rewatchability factor that most of the others lack. I'd also argue, though III is still my favorite, that this is the "perfect" Saw film. It has the character focus of Saw III, the lightning-fast pacing of Saw II, and the great ending of Saw.

Re: Saw VI
FUgh, horrible. This movie is more proof that part 4 should've been the finale. To say this is a mess is putting it mildly.

Re: Saw VI
Part... 4? So the series should have ended with Costas Mandylor's reveal as the bad guy and Jigsaw's tape saying he'll be tested soon?

Re: Saw VI
This is my third favorite of the series, after Saw III and then the first film.

Re: Saw VI
Saw III is the obvious endpoint if you want to play the, "Saw should have ended way sooner" card. It perfectly closes Jigsaw's story and is a great horror movie.
Saw IV has to be the worst place to end (other than maybe Saw 3-D, lol). It's a total bridge/set-up-future-sequels movie.

Re: Saw VI
So is Saw V. It's why those two movies are so annoying -- they're not so much movies as extended trailers for next year. Saw IV exists for no other reason but to clear the board of all returning characters (Eric, Rigg, etc.) and show that there's another baddie.

Re: Saw VI
Kinda shocked reading through this thread. Had no idea Saw 6 was so popular around here.
I thought I’d had enough after 5, but since Chris Rock is bringing it back I thought I’d give it another try. It’s more of the same. Twisted traps where one asshole gets to decide if other assholes die while a bigger asshole watches. Stupid cops finding stupid ways to die (seriously they were ALL suspicious of Hoffman and he still clears that room with ease.) A twist that nobody saw coming. Zero lessons learned. Another movie next year.
D, maybe C- cause I really didn’t see the twist coming even though I was expecting one. I might even watch the next one for another twist despite knowing I will probably not like the rest of the movie.

Re: Saw VI
The franchise made an awful mistake of killing Amanda on Saw 3 if they were planning on continuing the franchise , she shoulda been the replacement not that stupid cop.
Amanda is an iconic character that should have had her own time on tip, that's why I dislike 4,5 and 6.

He has X-Pac heat. Just give Amanda a Bane or something to explain how she transports these people around.
