He's an idiot and mouth-off with no taste in film. Moreover he is a small contribution to the downfall of society (as are so many people) to me, this is a large price to pay for being rich without doing anything.

Exactly. If they don't know how to behave, and feel OK offending others, they get their ass kicked, so they'll think next time before opening their rotten mouths.

Benjamin Milk!!! You're ruining this review thread for a great movie with your ongoing threadcrapping. Make a thread elsewhere to discuss your petty grievances...

Re: Memento
Re-watched this a few days back and man does it still hold up. The uniqueness of this film along with the complexity and awe of the script, as well as Guy Pearce, make this a true classic.

Bradley....for shame Popular? It only made $39m WW, and I saw it opening weekend. Sadly, it remains Nolan's only good film. (However, your overall theory is flawed - - in the past 5 years I have enjoyed such top 20 movies as Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Bridesmaids, Shrek Forever After, Little Fockers, The King's Speech, The Last Airbender, Avatar, The Hangover, 2012, GI Joe: Rise of Cobra, Taken, Iron Man, and Gran Torino.)

Re: Memento
I just watched this for the 3rd time, but the first time since over 10 years ago and I didn't remember the ending well anymore. I remembered being in awe when I first saw it because of the wtf's actually going on and it still did that again with me this time. It such a different film than the last Nolan I've seen, Dunkirk, but both films have him using film to paint a story unlike I very rarely see. Memento just reels me in from the first shot and it doesn't let up. The film works on the brain to follow the story and it's rewarding. Guy Pearce is also such a stud in this, and Carrie-Anne Moss is great that I still feel I've seen her in just too few films. Memento has one of the best screenplays ever which turned into one of the best films ever too.

Re: Memento
This is a film experience I've never had before. Not only am I still unraveling it all, I'll need to watch it three times to fully make sense of every piece of the puzzle. I love that it is going backwards. It requires so much attention from the viewer, which is a welcome shock to the film-watching norm. At no point do we know any more than Leonard does. He has short-term memory loss and we haven't seen that part yet. It's genius! A real masterpiece, and definitely shoots to the top of Nolan's best films. It toys with what you think you know so well. I was convinced that Pantoliano was a bad dude but he's the only one that's right!
I'm ashamed I waited 18 years to see this.

Re: Memento
This movie doesn't quite have the same impact on me as it did the first time I saw it, but its still a great mindfuck of a movie. The cast here is just excellent here, especially Pearce, Pantoliano and Moss and man do I miss seeing this kind raw and gritty edge from Nolan. Just mindblowing and brilliant filmaking all around.
