Re: Request a Movie Thread
So it's possible for a film with an Oscar Winning director and starring Sally Field and Ed Harris to have a lower RT score than Hades.

Re: Request a Movie Thread
Hmm. Well it did come out in 1996. I think RT just hasn't bothered to find all of its reviews (or the critics that wrote reviews for it didn't register with RT). It was not badly received upon release, as far as I remember.

Re: Request a Movie Thread
Had some difficulty finding a good poster/ image for the second one; I created the thread, but just let me know if you have a better image suggestion to use for the thread instead.

Thanks dude. Here's the first film's poster: And can you create a thread for the [better-looking] sequel as well? Here is the poster for the sequel:

Re: Request a Movie Thread
Oh, oops. The one I downloaded was actually the sequel. I cannot find the first, so that thread is redundant. Sorry.

Re: Request a Movie Thread
It wouldn't be the first redundant thread to be created.
And even despite the type of film it is, I couldn't watch it without seeing the first one first. And yeah some films just don't have torrent online, the best hope would be someone uploaded it somewhere and your stream it.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and The Equalizer 2 should be stickied, not Skyscraper and Sorry to Bother You.

Re: Request a Movie Thread
A Civil Action seems to have had a $75m budget according to wiki, seems like a lot for a courtroom drama, wonder where it went, look forward to seeing the film.

That does seem high (though Google says $60m), but perhaps there are some legal costs involved there, due to the nature of the film, although I haven't read anything about it. Travolta was hot then so he probably commanded a big paycheck ( Mad City cost $50m, Primary Colors cost $65m). Disney had to buy the rights of the book too. Perhaps that was included. Could've been a few mil. It didn't do badly at the box office. Adjusted to 2018, it did make over $100m. So it was money well spent. There are no non-US grosses listed either. I wonder how it fared worldwide.
