In the last 2 months we are gonna have 2 $600m grossers in Inside Out 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine. Crazy. I think if this thread was made earlier this year idk if anyone wpuld've thought it was possible for those films... so what are some that you think could hit this mark? Avengers films are kinda a given since the roster will probably be crazy now but idk what else I would say... |

I kind of like Moana 2's chances more than anything in 2025 right now. But the latter will probably have two mega breakouts. |

From the (soon to be) 16 films that have grossed $600m+... MCU - 7 Star Wars - 2 Avatar - 2 Pixar - 2 Top Gun Jurassic World Barbie Disney Animation not on here yet. Could go either way with Moana and Zootopia. Idk if Frozen 3 will increase that much. Superman isn't going to do this much unless it's like amazing. If it's at least solid I could see it doing like The Batman. |

Moana suffers from the Frozen problem that it's a more girl heavy fanbase. Zootopia has a more broad fanbase, imo. |

Michael could be the big unexpected breakout next year ... but it is currently opening against Passion 2, another contender. Schedule is a mess. Michael should take Ballerina's spot in early June. Passion should be in February. Superman, F4 and Jurassic World all opening in a 4 week stretch? Madness. So just to defy the odds and be as random as possible - next year's #1 with $675M will be Spongebob: The Search For Squarepants. |

Passion of the Christ 2 Electric Boogaloo and Michael (we pretend not to see the pedo stuff) is such a messy weekend lol Probably two of the most controversial films of the decade opening on the same week |

I don't see why it suffers a huge drop-off from the second unless it gets really bad reviews. Are there a ton of people who saw the second and will skip the 3rd? People were predicting gloom and doom for the second and the second outdid expectations. |

Avatar 3 should still do $600m I feel... it'll most likely be at least be visually appealing. If nothing gets to $600m next year then maybe the next film will be Mario Bros 2. |

Get them summer weekdays and it'll be easier to split showtimes on the premium screens between Michael and Elio than Thunderbolts which will take all the big screens even if it flops. |

Summer should go: May 2- Thunderbolts May 9- Flowervale Street May 16- F1 May 23- Karate Kid / Ballerina May 30- Megan 2 June 8 - Michael June 15- Elio June 22- Superman June 29 - 28 Years Later July 2 - Jurassic World 4 / The Bad Guys 2 July 11 - Naked Gun / The Monkey July 18 - Fantastic Four July 25- Battle of Baktan Cross August 2nd - Mission Impossible 8 August 9- Trey Parker + Kendrick Lamar film August 16 - Animal Friends August 23 - I Know What You Did Last Summer 3 August 30 - Nobody 2 And then fill the rest out with lesser known horror and chick flicks. How to Train Your Dragon remake is out as it doesnt fit anywhere in my schedule. Spiderverse 3 could fit anywhere but I don't think it will be ready in time unfortunately. |
