I have feeling this one is gonna do better than most would expect. Pearl released way too close to X for it to pull any decent box office but seems like people have caught up with these by now thanks to streaming. Pearl grossed $10.1M total. I'm thinking Maxxxine will top that on opening weekend, but have some crazy frontloadedness. Something like $12M / $23M? |

I do agree this will open way bigger than Pearl. It's opening during the summer so unless this is awful it should have fine legs. |
