With no premium screens think drop will be bad. 70%+ but curious to see if it'll play for the rest of the year.

Even as early as opening day presales, I saw robust sales for 2nd weekend. But there were little walkups seen for OW and I am expecting more of the same. It will drop hard. I think close to 70% if not there.

Since my $198.9M OW didn't pan out, I'm going with a -78.57% drop.

Or a second weekend of $19.89M. :P

The movie is definitely very rewatchable. But its also definitely not appealing to anyone outside of her fanbase. I'll go with 71%.

Halloween Kills $49,404,980/$92,002,155 53.7% (OW share) has the worst legs for $45M+ movies.

Friday the 13th $40,570,365/$65,002,019 62.4% (OW share) has the worst legs for $40M+ movies.

Eras needs $172.82M+ to beat Halloween's legs. Would need $148.69M+ to beat Friday the 13th's legs.

Can this miss $150M+? Tbd.

Over 80%, definitely. With it only playing at weekends, I'd say most people assume it was a one-weekend-only event.

It has full set of shows tomorrow. Question is will that be rolled into 2nd weekend gross. That will make some difference. 2nd weekend had robust pre sales month ago but walkups have been non existent so far. Would the fans who enjoyed the OW show come back again is the big question. I think it will drop hard but not as hard as what some here are predicting.

There's just no urgency to see this in its second weekend, even if there are strong showings, we're such a social media obsessed / instantaneous culture now and few will want to show they've seen it in the second weekend.

Drop was probably better than expected for fans who rewatched it.

That statement makes no sense.

Should of done weekdays, now has a real chance of missing 200 million.

It won't miss $200M. There's still an extend edition coming with the songs that were cut out. That will give it a boost around the holidays and atleast amc will keep it in theaters till then.

I'm not convinced that will do anything. She probably thinks she can do what she does for streaming/vinyl sales and release 'special versions' after the original comes out to fleece her fans, but streaming or buying something online is very different from driving to the theatre and spending 2 hours there just to get 5 minutes more of footage. Even the most brainwashed and psychotic ardent and passionate swifties might balk at that.

It'll be closer to 30 minutes of new footage and I don't think Swift fans will mind at all. Spending an extra 20 bucks is still way cheaper than actually seeing the tour.

I know that seems kind of novel, but if a big budget movie basically released a directors cut 3 weeks later I’d be more pissed, I mean in 3 weeks is she going to announce an in picture commentary exclusive? Like I said very novel. But then it’s only bizarre because we’ve never seen it. I’ve always wondered if I would travel to different cities to see the the different endings to the movie Clue (I think it’s biggest charm to building an audience was when they merged them for vhs)
