In normal times this would do $200m+ OW. And even in December and pandrmic I think this can do at least $140m+ OW. |

December end release means BO gets spread around a bit. Last spidey movie opened early July and its BO was also spread around. Its OD < 40m despite opening immediately after endgame. Both spiderman movies finished below 400m. I dont see why this will suddenly gross 500m+ that too in the middle of pandemic. |

Would a single scene appearance be that big of a deal as we will see the scene online before the release for sure :-) I doubt they will have a role in this movie. Why is DS that big of a deal when Iron Man had appeared in homecoming. He is way bigger star than DS is now. Plus Far from home released just after endgame where the hype should have been lot bigger. Now with COVID still wrecking havoc state side, why do we think we are ready for 500-600m domestic grosser that too for 9th spider-man movie in past 2 decades. |

Making this a 450m club. I feel pretty good about 500m with Christmas legs coming pff a mammoth opening like TFA received. But I'll start it at 450m, which will make its ticket sales on par with Spider Man 3. |

Imagine if they integrate Venom somehow on this. Would do gangbusters as audience definitely want to see a great Spidey Vs Venom movie which Spidey 3 wasn't. |

So it seems like Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Vulture, Mysterio, Sandman and Electro are all going to appear in this movie at a minimum.

When was the last time leaks were so bad for a major film release? There isn't much left to be spoiled with this film really, after months of leaked footage, set photos, movie stills, etc. Wasn't parts of the script also leaked? I don't think all of this will hurt the film at the box office (assuming the film itself doesn't leak weeks in advance...), but it's pretty bizarre. At least one prominent filmmaker has to be actively involved in the leaks. Or perhaps the whole team is reckless. |

The leaks are part of the marketing. They don't even need to release another trailer because of them. Everyone knows that Tobey is gonna be in it, but we also can't complain that Disney spoiled the twist. |

Normally, I’d agree. But this spoils what’s already known. I think the big key with this is get asses back in theaters. Venom, Eternals, and the scar jo lawsuit show this is a big power move for Disney and Marvel. They are going to wipe the floor with films to come |
