 Screw Snyder- Rocky IV Director's Cut coming soon https://screenrant.com/rocky-4-directors-cut-sylvester-stallone-video-update/Going for darker tone with more of Apollo's death and additional scenes and fight footage recut and the loss of Paulie's infamous robot. This came out of no where, well Algren probably would have been all over this when it was announced, but I'm definitely intrigued. While I'm excited to see it, 4 is like the perfect bottle of 80s testosterone so one could wonder "why mess with perfection" but I'm definitely checking this out.

Re: Screw Snyder- Rocky IV Director's Cut coming soon Rocky 4 is my least favorite, though I still haven’t watched 5. Its so corny and outdated. Returning to it even damaged the very promising Creed franchise.

Re: Screw Snyder- Rocky IV Director's Cut coming soon Dam that's a tough one for me. I even like 5. I think it's a solid boxing movie, just a terrible Rocky movie. Despite being such a formula franchise, I really do love the films for a lot of different reasons.
1. Rocky II 9/10 (First is a better movie, but this is one of the best followups ever, and that last fight with the end despite the realism, is cinematic gold)
2. Rocky 9/10
3. Rocky Balboa 8.8/10 (The blueprint for Creed in many ways, love the HBO style fight and despite losing Shire is still alive, the love story became even more poignant)
4. Rocky IV 8.6/10 (This is like watching the best trailer ever 30 times in a row)
5. Creed 8.6/10
6. Rocky III 8.5/10 (I think this one could use a director's cut, but this has 3 fights and they're all too short would be my only complaint, now adays the amount crammed into this film would be enough for 2 films)
7. Creed 2 7.5/10 (I really need to watch this one again, just because it hasn't hit my repeat viewings yet it loses points)
8. Rocky V 5.5/10 RIP Sage/ Tommy, Burgess. Lol, there is a director's cut out there where Rocky died from his injuries at the end of the film, so grateful that didn't happen.
