Did they think Greenland would make too much? Unhinged did really well might not have made as much in the regular market. Greenland should have released.

And Limited releases has limited lol.

Ava is out on demand. It has bad reviews, but it’s Jessica Chastain as a sexy action hero. Not something that Flava’d can easily pass up.

^ Do try it, its pretty to look at. Maybe you will end up liking it because you watch it in theaters.

Just saw this. I was just trying to emphasize that they're truly limited. ;)

My local, independently owned theater is back to showing catalogue releases. The two live-action Addams Family movies are playing now and the animated film will be showing next week. Then for all of October, their release schedule consists of horror or Halloween themed films: Hocus Pocus, Casper, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Goosebumps for the younger audiences. And Scream, The Amityville Horror (original), Halloween (original), and The Exorcist for more adult audiences.

Every week in October has a film from each playing, the family film at 7PM and the adult film at 9PM. Tickets are $5 a person or $8 if you want to see both the same day. And they're giving away free candy to children (12 and under) all month if they come in costume.

Not playing anywhere around here. Local theater has Tenet, Broken Hearts, Madagascar, Empire Strikes Back and On The Basis of Sex. Which is dumb because Unhinged has shown that Ava is the exact type of movie that could perform well in these trying times.

At least they aren’t charging me $20 for the rental. $7 or $13 to buy is reasonable and I’ll probably watch it today.
