The fact that we don't have any Tenet breakdown... lol Broken Hearts is gonna do sub-4m. Hopefully drops are ok... More interested to see what studios do for the rest of the year. |

I think Tenet was going to relatively disappoint anyway - I.e sub $50m OW without Covid. Offcourse Covid drooped it even further. Looks like in normal conditions it would have doubled New Mutants which looked to open at 20-25m |

Hmm, my $9M prediction was for the 3-day weekend, but they will probably just report the entire week again. Let’s bump that to $11.5M. |

I'll go with $10 for this week. A higher drop due to fanbase and GA audience rush coupled with lower Cinemascore. |

Maybe not, and its difficult to even recommend the movie to someone not instantly sold by the name Nolan, but it’s still by far the best choice out there. Next week? Nothing. The week after? Greenland! Which looks fun but will not be going above 30% on rotten tomatoes. |

Um... over at BOT I think they said Tenet made like 9m for the 3-day last weekend lol. The 20.2m was for all previews and Monday. So this weekend's numbers may look pretty low. Orange County is opening theaters though so at least it'll get some LA business... |

I figured it would work out like $5M for the previews + Canada and then $15M for the 4 day weekend. WB could make this easier for us... |

From what I remember that $20.2m figure included Monday numbers as well so the traditional weekend might have been lower than $9m if not boosted by the holiday. WB should have released those numbers, it does not make sense why they didn't release the numbers when they were so adamant about opening the movie in theaters. |

If Tenet is able to somehow stay in the high single digits I'd honestly be really satisfied with that, but seeing how NM dropped last week and the mixed WOM that would probably be asking for a miracle right now. |

If Tenet really is the only big thing playing for months and theaters are somehow able to stay open then maybe it'll get to 100m... lol if WB reports their #s yeesh |

Or people might just skip going to theaters. Its not like all movies "have" to make money or people "have" to go to theaters to see a movie. |

Tenet - $7-8m The Broken Hearts Gallery - $0.9-1.2m Assuming Tenet made $12m+ last weekend (3-day), a drop of 38% will bring it to $7.4m. The Broken Hearts Gallery looks like an indie romance. Words on Bathroom Walls might be a good comparison. |

BOT people are claiming $9m for 3-day weekend and I believe these estimates to be close to accurate. |
