Post Deadline's most valuable blockbuster [2019]
I always find these lists interesting, so far...

https://deadline.com/story-arc/2019-mos ... ockbuster/
25. Hustlers
24. Little Women
23. Annabelle Comes Home
22. Glass
21. Shazam!

#1 will be Endgame and #2 will probably be Joker.

Yay, I enjoy these as well. I like when they reveal actor salaries and backend participation deals.

I predict Rise of Skywalker at #4/5. Maybe even #6 due to its budget.

Skywalker might not be very successful could see it outside Top 10. Think Joker had a real shot at #1

My Predictions

1. Endgame
2. Captain Marvel
3. Parasite
4. Joker
5. Knives Out
6. Little Women
7. Downton Abbey
8. Toy Story 4
9. Us
10. Aladdin

I could see TROS and LK both missing out in favor of Frozen or Spider-man or 1917 or OUATIH. Hell even Jumanji or John Wick could be higher.

Little Women is at #24. TLK should still easily get into #10. Parasite's overall gross was not big enough for it to ever Top 3

255 million on a 11 million budget and first ever foreign language film to win Best Picture. Come on now.

I think Aladdin is much more impressive than TLK.

From what I read before and understood they don't rank exactly by the BO to Budget multiplier because that way indie movies would get advantage. Remember Deadpool had better multiplier that year than any blockbuster but didn't end up #1. And I didn't mention Top 10 for Parasite just that Top 3 might be difficult.

Both Aladdin and TLK will get in Top 10. Expectations wise Aladdin is more impressive but by a quick multiplier from budget check makes me believe TLK will be higher ranked.

This list isn't about impressiveness, it's purely about profit.

Yea, but it is Neon's biggest film by like 210 million. I think they would consider it extremely profitable.

I'd love to see Parasite reaching Top 3 Thegun but I think they will consider in Indie movie list which is mostly outside Top 10.

So no Parasite at all? What was the BO threshold for entry?
