From the article: Quote: In other words, it's possible those patients would have improved clinically whether they got hydroxychloroquine or nothing at all.

But depending on your source I may actually reply to your nonsense https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnew ... cna1177556It’s even an anti-Trump source for you. That's not what it says at all. And WHO just said no to chloroquine.
You need to read articles that have value. Not shut off the first page off Google.

And really, you should leave that kind of articles to us doctors, especially when Chloroquine can lead you to Kidney failure if taken the wrong way

I said “a good chance” it can help, not that it’s definitely going to solve the outbreak. But go ahead and call me stupid all you want.

Still not QUITE at the peak for cases yet in the US. But looks like we're getting close. Deaths gonna keep rising.
Though the 60,000 deaths estimate is good news. We'll see.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
With the way Boston is exploding.... No. You won't be peaking. And even if you peak, there's literally no way in hell this quarantine is over until at least July. Italy "peaked" yet it's still having 600 deaths a day.
And we all know China lied its ass off when it came to deaths and total cases but whatever.
Just because you peak it doesn't mean it's over. It means this shit will go on for at least two more months. And you guys have it harder because it hit NYC. First but now Boston is falling too and because whoever runs Florida is a clueless dude I'm pretty sure Florida is gonna be an Italy sized MESS in the coming weeks

Down your border, it's starting to get messy as fuck. My friend who intubated that covid patient is fine but still under strict quarantine for the next week.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
A study of wastewater in Massachusetts found more virus than expected based on confirmed cases. There were 450 confirmed cases in the area at the time, the wastewater data estimated 2,300-115,000 cases. The range is wide because the method is new for coronavirus, and needs more validation. But the odds certainly support the notion that confirmed cases greatly underestimate actual cases. https://www.newsweek.com/coronavirus-traces-massachusetts-wastewater-levels-higher-expected-1497141?utm_source=GoogleNewsstandTech&utm_medium=Feed&utm_campaign=Partnerships

Re: COVID-19 and box office
New York City is seeing a surge of people dying in their homes.
Quote: Here are stats from @FDNY released last night on number of times where EMTs and paramedics responded to a home and the person couldn't be revived...highlighted in yellow. (count_inc is a cardiac arrest call in general) - that number has increased steadily since March 20

Re: COVID-19 and box office
Maybe the ICU admissions decreased because people are dying at home instead of going to hospital

Don’t think so. The dates don’t really match. The number that couldn’t be revived began to plateau on April 2.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
Iceland has tested more of its population than any other country (10% now). It’s fatality rate is therefore likely more accurate than other countries, even if it is also missing a few cases. It’s just under half of one percent.
