Re: COVID-19 and box office
No way in hell I'm letting anyone put that vaccine in me until a lot of other people have had it and a couple years have passed and lots more studies have been done. They don't know anything about long-term effects. I'd rather risk the virus tbh.

I sort of expected this reaction from Barrabas. This debate though is definitely worth exploring because I've heard concerns from a few of my friends about this as well.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
I myself haven't yet decided which way to go because I do not know all the details of the vaccine. Once I know more details I'll be better equipped to take a decision.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
Its not about understanding the anti Vaxxers in general but every medicine has it own effects/side effects and as of now we know that this one works 90% on COVID but not many further details are outlined yet.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
So many anti vaxxers will take literally any other drug it’s so stupid.
Plenty of people HAVE taken the vaccine, good God. If it gets FDA approved there is nothing to worry about.

I'm not taking a vaccine that's been tested for like 6 months when I already have like a 99.9% survival rate

I'm simply a little cautious about a vaccine developed, tested and approved in what, eight months? when it typically takes years. I will let others be the guinea pigs.

The speed does not logically matter if they use the same criteria for approval. We’ve never had the medical technology we do now.

I still would prefer if there were people walking around who took it 50 years ago and have no long term impact

Re: COVID-19 and box office
Do you think all the vaccines/medications you have taken thus far have no causalities or that ALL OF THEM have been tested for past 50+ years?

Plenty of people HAVE taken the vaccine, good God. If it gets FDA approved there is nothing to worry about. Um, only like 4000 people have taken the vaccine. Could be even less.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
Anyone telling you that they can guarantee the safety of a medical product after 6 months is kidding themselves. It's not for nothing that procedures usually take years, including a very long observation phase.
There have been treatments in the past such as stilbestrol that for years were thought to be harmless and that ended up later having consequences on the offspring of those who took it.
You have to weigh the risk-benefit ratio, and clearly if you are young and in good health it's not worth it.

No, the rest were part of the trial and received a placebo.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
You'd be brainless to get in line for a vaccine so early. Certainly not for Covid.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
What’s so risky about a vaccine that’s been tested on tens of thousands of people?

The only thing we know is how many side effects they have after 5-6 months of taking it. Not to mention if it's 30,000 people that's not very big sample size in my opinion.

Re: COVID-19 and box office
20k split up just by men and women is only 200 people per state. And that’s before all the demographics, race, etc are taken into account

By the time a vaccine has been around for someone’s whole life, the virus will either be gone or mutated to a strain not worth vaccinating for. So if we’re not waiting for a vaccine to stop this garbage lifestyle, what are we waiting for then?

Re: COVID-19 and box office
I think it's just a number game, if the vaccine would ensure a 100% immunity there should be no reason not to get it, but if the risk of side effects is greater than 0.1% it would negate that.
