Re: February predictions
I would have had high expectations for Invisible Man and Fantasy Island but the glut of failing horror movies will probably bring them down.
Harley and Sonic will be big winners though.

Re: February predictions
I'm getting a little nervous about Birds of Prey but hopefully the HQ/DC brand pushes it to at least above Shazam. I'm expecting $160-170m domestic. If reviews are very good and reception is as well bring on 200m.
Sonic is gonna open well. 40m+ opening I think. Had they stuck eith the original design it would do Fantastic Four #s.
Invisible Man looks solid. 20m+ opening I'd think.

Birds of Prey looks better than Shazam in my opinion. It should do minimum as well as that. I'd hope for 200m+ though.
Sonic will gross on par with Detective Pikachu, something few would have predicted last year.

Re: February predictions
Wouldn’t be surprised if Sonic flirts with 150m

Re: February predictions
Kind of like Downhill’s chances over Valentine’s Day, even if making Force Majeure into a Will Ferrell comedy seems like the most American remake thing to do ever

Re: February predictions
I definitely wouldn't be surprised if Sonic did DP numbers or more. I don't even think the movie looks all that good myself, but the market is ripe right now for a family friendly flick to breakout. I am also hoping Invisible Man breaks out too.
