 Pixar 2020: Onward & Soul Onward opens in March and looks bad. Soul opens in June and looks transcendent. Unfortunately the former will impact the Box Office of the latter.... reducing demand and making Soul seem less fresh. Obviously I’m excited to see Soul and will pass on Onward.
Onward: $60m / $195m
Soul: $55m / $215m
obviously I’m terrible at predicting box office. What do y’all think?

Re: Pixar 2020: Onward & Soul Onward reminds me of Brave and Soul reminds me of Inside Out. So I’d expect their numbers to be around there, though a bit less for each since they are coming out so close to each other.
Onward - $60M / $220M
Soul - $80M / $300M

Re: Pixar 2020: Onward & Soul They both look bad,IMO. Soul looked promising until it became a clear ripoff of inside Out. I’m sure both will be good though.

Re: Pixar 2020: Onward & Soul Actually I think Steve is right in that both will make around 200m. Good for what they are.
Inside Out breaking out like it did seems like a long time ago now since most of their output has been sequels since. In 2020 they’ll replicate 2015 with two originals but that worked to mixed results then.

Re: Pixar 2020: Onward & Soul We'll need to see some type of plot for Soul. But those saying it's an Inside Out ripoff... they have no clue what they're talking about.
Onward should do good mainly because it looks like a film kids will like.

Re: Pixar 2020: Onward & Soul Very confused why this hadn’t been moved. Maybe they’re hoping that if movie theaters miraculously reopen by June 19th they’ll be able to get all the screens or something.
