There’s definitely more potential than that film realized. There’s not much to go off of this trailer, but it’s definitely got 200m potential. The original 2 adjust to over 600 and over 300m. Surely there’s potential for more than half of 2 adjusted. |

Yeah the 2016 wasn’t great but it wasn’t like cancer or anything. Just a below average Feig comedy, and a slightly above average comedy in general. |

I enjoyed the trailer. Loving the 80's Spielberg vibes and the overall tone of it, but I can't help, but get the feeling that this could potentially be another Genisys/Dark Fate situation all over again. Another franchise reboot to a poorly received reboot that came out only less than five years ago. I don't know maybe I'm wrong, but with how so many of these 80's nostalgia driven reboots being rejected lately I don't see why this would be any different. I honestly think this will be lucky to do as much as the 2016 reboot, but with a likely much lower budget than that movie it wouldn't look nearly as bad IMO. |

The title should be Ain’t No Bitches Can Be Ghostbusters. Should do well, but not amazing. $55M / $160M sounds right. |

I think the change in tone was a solid idea after the 2016 movie. A comedy male Ghostbusters would have flopped for sure. This feels like it will appeal to Stranger Things fans. |

Idk, could become another unnecessary sequel to an old franchise. The last movie didn’t do that well, but at least it got a lot of attention. Unless it gets more traction I going to guess 100m or less. |

I liked that trailer and as Shack mentioned this might appeal Stranger Things and IT fans alike with similar tones. Its still a coin toss, the last reboot was a few years back so this could definitely go down from that but I still feel the last one being a comedy didn't do it any favors in current marketplace where people love horror/mystery more. I am thinking this will do $200m total though not sure how much will it open to. |

zzzzz no one cares. The remake was such a fiasco that it tarnished the brand. And no shot of the cast + no iconic music is retarded. Hwood executives are basically a club (which they belong to from very young if not from birth) with gobs of money to throw around on fun things. It doesn't mean they're smart at all save a few. |

They are smart to mimic the It remake and make it relevant for today's generation. See a strong chance for $200 m + here. |

I didn't mind it. I thought it was well done and I think its good to hold off the old cast and iconic tune until the second trailer (or SB spot). Had it been release in 2016 (with the other one not existing) I think $250m+ would be on the cards. Now - I'm sure all would be happy with $150m |
