Weekend - Invisible Touch
Invisible Man - $29M
Off a freakin $1.65M preview! And that weekend multiplier is mighty impressive too, not just for a horror or a franchise reboot, but any movie that isn’t aimed at children. The Dark Universe is back on baby!
Sonic the Hedgehog - $16M | -39% | $128.2M The Call of the Wild - $13.2M | -47% | $45.86M My Hero Academia - $5M Bad Boys For Life - $4.3M | -26% | $197.37M Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey - $4.1M | -40% | $78.72M Impractical Jokers - $3.54M | +28% | $6.6M

Re: Weekend - Invisible Legs
Great opening.
Don't watch My Hero Acadamia but it's cool to see anine doing decent #s.
BoP will finish low 200s WW. How fucking frustrating lol hope WB doesn't decide to butcher another Suicide Squad movie because of this.

After seeing the film, it's hard to believe the budget was only $9m. Really well done for basically nothing.

Re: Weekend - Invisible Legs
Great for The Invisible Man. It took only 3 days to beat every horror release in box office this year. Its success could be attributed to audiences responding to the relationship drama/haunted ex-girlfriend and the mystery angle.

Same director made Upgrade, and that was 5 million, right? He's really able to get mileage.

Re: Weekend - Invisible Touch
Yeah The Invisible Man looks great considering the budget. Leigh Whannel definitely knows how to get the most out of lower budget horror films and Jason Blum deserves the same amount of credit as well seeing how he manages the budgets for his movies. Either way it should be insanely profitable in the end, and I couldn't be happier because it deserves it.

IM was overestimated by 800k, 28.2 weekend. Sonic and Call underestimated by about 200k each.

Re: Weekend - Invisible Touch
Sonic seems to have stabilized but I think it will have tough time against Onward. Call off the Wild souls vs good enough for $80m which is a great result. Harley refuses to stabilize
