There should be enough pent up demand and the hype around Craig's last Bond to get this one closer to Skyfall in total gross.

This title feels like it should belong to a flop Die Hard spin off starring Dave Bautista ("No Time to Die Hard"), not a James Bond movie. Die Another Day wants its money back.

Need to see a trailer first.

I believe most Americans were ready for a new Bond, so I don’t see it doing that much better than Spectre. Overseas should still be massive though.

I’d be surprised if it meets its April date.

So it's the last 20 minutes of Casino Royale + the first 20 minutes of Skyfall + Fallout.

Still looks pretty good though. I'll give it another $70M / $200M run.

Spectre's opening weekend remains one of the most random and mysterious drops in a franchisee, not sure how that bolds here.

All off these movies look the same. "Oh bond youre not dead"....didnt we do this the last few movies?

Pretty good trailer IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if it did increase from Spectre, especially if it ends up being a much better film, but a 65/170 type run seems about right for now. I believe it's best to be conservative with this one until those reviews come out.

Well it just went back down to where Quantum was, which at the time was considered a big breakout. I think Skyfall was just an anomaly because it was so damn good and therefore had lots and lots of material for a superb marketing campaign.

I like this more than Black Widow trailer yesterday. That said I am with Magnus on recasting Bond. I wonder where they will go next. Female 007?

Still No time to Die - 75/200(If its better than Spectre) and 1B WW. I have a feeling this will double Spectre in China. Asia will be huge breakout and this movie does well in almost all markets. Could end up being the biggest movie Overseas next year.

It should do better than Spectre by just being the final of the Craig Bond films. Bond may never reach the heights of Skyfall again though. They'll have to just NAIL the next casting.

Not to go full DP on everyone but the early social media / YouTube views for this are not that strong. They’re not horrible but not good enough to think this will be better than Spectre domestically.

As KS alluded above though, overseas will be huge so it’ll financially will be a big hit. $1B certainly attainable.

Doesn’t Bond skew older, so wouldn’t it not really matter?

I don’t know if you noticed, but UK trailer has more views (and guessing they are not primarily from the UK). Not a bad pace at all.

The UK trailer was the only one on youtube I could find this morning when it dropped. The twitter trailer has almost 7 mil views.

I doesn’t seem like a breakout, so I might agree with 170m if Bond didn’t have a history of defying gravity. I’m guessing 77m/200m.

I dont think twitter/youtube views count as much for this. It does skew older.

Being the last Craig Bond and the April Easter release - I'm expecting it to go $80-85m/$240-250m.

So in-between Skyfall and Spectre.

Looks great. And Knives out is only going to help, especially since both leads are in this.

Skyfall was the film that transcended the franchise. I expect another increase from CR,QOS, and Spectre. I think it can flirt with 90 OW, it has a real good marketing hook to build on from here on out. Skyfall's opening is attainable, but 250-280 seems a good bet.

Looks like its opening on a Wednesday. Interesting.

Looks very strong though.

Also it doesn't seem like there is a big pre summer film this year. This and Mulan look to really capitalize. Trolls 2 is the only film til Black Widow so far.

Spectre, I'd also say was a crazy year for spy films. You had Kingsmen 1, MI5, Spy, and then Spectre. I think fatigue played a role then GA disliking it. Bond has had a very loyal following the last 25 years.
