Weekend Numbers Oct 9-11 - New #1
The War With Grandpa had a $1M Friday even with regal closed. Pretty impressive really and should be good enough for #1 on the weekend (WB does not release daily numbers for Tenet). Hopefully studios will keep up with low budget releases.
The War With Grandpa - $3.6M Tenet - $2.1M -22% | $48.3M Hocus Pocus - $1.16M

Yes I'd say that's a good number with so many theaters closed and the rest operating at lesser seating arrangement, in particular for a film like The War With Grandpa that wouldn't have done more than $2m-$4m in a regular environment.

Re: Weekend Numbers Oct 9-11
“War with Grandpa breaks Tenet’s six weekend streak at #1” would have seemed plausible pre-Pandemic. The ‘levels’ of this trajectory are what’s vastly different

Lol, where to begin with that. For Starters, Tenet would be #1 for only 5 weeks. And Jungle Cruise would have crushed it in week 2 as originally scheduled.

Yeah that headline is stupid but it still looks worse for Tenet.

A 3.6 Million weekend. Not bad. Imagine if something released that people wanted to see.

Tenet's drop is good considering the Regal closures but the grosses are so small it barely matters lol

Updated first post with top 3. Coco did decently with 600K.
And Tenet having the same drop as previous weeks while losing 500+ theaters is interesting. Should cross $50M next weekend.
