This should've have came out before Infinity War tbh but it'll do well. Low 300s sounds about right unless people are really starving for an MCU flick and it opens off the charts but idk. It looks solid.

Also, going from two films and one D+ content in 2020 to FOUR films and 2-3 D+ content is a massive swing. 2021 is going to have a new MCU content come out basically every month from February to November.

Well, I think the fourth one includes a Fox Marvel property, so actually there won't be more Marvel movies...

Idk what is taking so long for Black Panther 2. Should have been ready 2020.

And Chadwick looked exhausted from the role and the promotion. He needed a break.

Trailer was meh. I would have predicted this to underperform big time if it were not a MCU flick. At this point I dont see this getting huge endgame boost but mcu brand value should help. Let us see how hype is next april.

Black Panther 2’s performance is gonna have a lot to do with the state of the MCU when it comes out. Before Avengers 3-4 I would have said it decreases opening weekend like Age of Ultron. But Marvel is so on top of the world right now I think everything they release for a while is gonna max it’s potential. If it came out in 2020 I’d say easy 200m OW. In 2021 or 2022 it’s harder to say.

I think it can do $275-350m which is still low end for a non-Antman MCU these days.

Just looking at general Facebook reception shows me that there are two camps:

1. People that tag other saying it looks good and cant wait to go see it with them (large majority)
2. People who state that the film should have been released 5 years ago and not required

But the best thing it has going for it is the long gap between MCU films. The hunger will be there.

I'm thinking around Thor Ragnarok #s. 125/320.

It’s the only film in the next few years that has genuine 250m+ OW potential.

Really enjoyed the first trailer for this. It probably won't do HUGE number, but I definitely think it has a shot at doing $1B+. Around $250-$330M sounds about right for this domestically with an OW well over $100M.

The worst part about next year's summer opener is the fact that BLACK WIDOW's total will probably be less than ENDGAME's opening ($357m)...

lolwut? WW84 is locked to finish with more than $357 mil.

WW1984 should get to $400m

2020 looks to be a mild transition year without UBER hits but possibly more mid-range hits - $200-$300m zone. I guess 2020 will be similar to 2000 and 2010.
