Re: February 22-24 predictions
Dragon really needs a strong OW to inject some life into the B.O. Hoping for high 40s/low 50s for it. Reviews are certainly great.

Dragon won’t do much more than 40m. Franchise is played out.

The movies may be really good, but I have never heard anyone actually talk about them and the buzz just doesn't seem to be there. I am really hoping Fighting With My Family ends up being leggy with such strong reviews though, because I haven't seen much for it in terms of marketing.

Re: February 22-24 predictions
Hulkamania with Chris Hemsworth was just announced and apparently Bradley Cooper is deciding if he wants to play Vince McMahon. So Fighting With My Family must be tracking well to make these studios think wrestling movies are gonna be a thing right?

Re: February 22-24 predictions
Wide open market + Lego letdown = Explosion potential.

Re: February 22-24 predictions
They're putting A Star is Born into more cinemas, while BoRhap loses them.

Looks like exhibitors are finally over Aquaman. Good crotch kick there.

It was listed as 4,529, but they edited it.

Re: February 22-24 predictions
Definitely a shot at over-performing for Dragon. Presales for Friday night are very strong at my theater.

Re: February 22-24 predictions
Ticket sales on Fandango have been out-pacing Lego Movie 2 by a pretty wide margin and are even ahead of The Grinch. Maybe it will be more front-loaded as I cannot imagine it opening that huge. But 50+ is basically guaranteed I think.

Re: February 22-24 predictions
It's the first CG-animated movie since, what, Ralph 2? So maybe that's a factor if it does well. It's hard to imagine it doing well though. I never seen anyone caring about any of the previous films. It just feels dead. Like if they made another Ice Age.

Re: February 22-24 predictions
I thought the same about Dragon 3 also. It felt like KFP3 or Ice Age 4.
However it did very well when it opened here in January so I can see it breaking out a little.
