Animated Beauty and the Beast also held up well and the live action version exploded. The grandeur of the set and the exotic scenery are reasons why I am interested in the live-action Aladdin. It's just that the CG needs some tweaking and it will do well. |

Nah. Even with bad buzz I can't see Aladdin going below $215m. Dumbo I see doing 190ish. |

As much as I want to join this club I don't know if it will do that badly. Dumbo isn't even sure to reach $200M domestic which would mean Aladdin would have to go even lower and despite that awful teaser I still think it will go over $200M domestic on the brand name alone. Of course, that can all change if WOM ends up being terrible. |
