We are entering a rather weak run from here on. The BO will see a major downturn compared to last year and wont recover until March which should claw back most of the losses.

Noticed that earlier today when I looked up what I wanted to see in theaters next. Maayyybe Alita, if the reviews are good. Slim pickings...

I've been hearing early word that Alita is good, and the 3D aspect is excellent, similar to Avatar in quality. I was originally thinking a domestic total of 50-75M, but it could end up doing much better than that if this early word is accurate.

Alita screeeams bomb. The only way i see it doing decently is if it gets flat out raves and buzz becomes high soon but we will see.

The must see IMAX and 3D might not be bad for it specially when Cameron's name is attached in good capacity (i.e. not just EP)
