Re: Christmas Day Numbers
Wonder how much Aquaman can increase this weekend? It's become quite a story - one I didn't totally foresee given the positive but not glowing critic response.

Re: Christmas Day Numbers
Pretty sure Aquaman is gonna decrease from its opening... but hopefully that drop is sub-30%.

Re: Christmas Day Numbers
If it keeps following Jack Reacher's daily pattern, which it actually has been, it would make about $55 million for the weekend. I think it'll slow down a little more than that film, but $50+ million is still possible, which would be outstanding and just about lock it for $300 million domestic.

Re: Christmas Day Numbers
I wonder if theaters were contractual obligated to keep showtimes for Marwen and second act through the holidays. Movies like Grindelwald ended up losing showtimes. I haven’t seen that for the openers and the numbers indicate so too, even if theaters could do better with other movies.

Re: Christmas Day Numbers
Yeah, it's too bad Grindlewald lost so many theaters cause the first one made decent $$ during the holiday and I noticed the few places showing it on Christmas sold out. Now it won't even pass $160m yeesh

Marwen I understand. The former is not doing that bad.

Re: Christmas Day Numbers
What demographic is Poppins attracting that makes it daily numbers so consistent compared to Aquaman and Bumblebee? It’s had by far the smallest drops but also smaller increases.
