Are we allowed to call Mary Poppins a dissapointment now?

All movies should have really good Sundays though since Xmas Eve is on a Monday this year.

Yes, I don’t see it doing much more than 125m by New Years.

God, I'm praying Aquaman can out gross that shitty Grinch movie so it's not number one of the season, good God November and December have been a shit hole box office wise with Beasts, Ralph, and Poppins disappointing big time and Creed and Spider-Verse doing only as expected. Only bright spot is Bohemian Rhapsody and now Aquaman.

But if I was given the option to have one of my anticipated movies do as well as I wanted or to have the Grinch bomb, I'd pick the Grinch to bomb in a heartbeat.

I told y'all Mary Poppins was going to disappoint. Kids prefer Bumblebee (or Aquaman), and older people prefer the Oscar movies. It also reeks of Disney cash in on another beloved property.

It's doing Christopher Robin numbers. Take that as you will.

That's kind of terrible for Bumblebee. I don't see it making more than The Last Knight with a $20m OW.

Looks like just a bit under 23 million for Bumblebee. Did pretty great after all. Will likely at least reach The Last Knight's domestic gross.

Yep I was wrong. I'll admit it. :P At least it didn't do your 28 million. That would have been really embarrassing. ;)

Well, technically Mary Poppins Returns is still an awards movie with those Globe nominations.

What Oscar movie is making a lot of money, lol? Bohemian Rhapsody is even starting to die down now.

The Favorite is still doing OK but yeah audiences have mostly rejected this years crop. I wonder what Roma’s streaming numbers are like.

Supposedly 90% of Bumblebee's audience was over 25. Wtf!?

Edit: huh, Deadline has a different breakdown, that other figure is from THR. Weird.

If you are 25, you were 13 or 14 in 2007. And the original series is even older. Other franchises like Underworld saw their audience age.

I feel like Bumblebee's audience was more restricted to people who remember the cartoons or toys than the Bay Transformers films
