November 21-25 Predictions
Creed 2 33/47 Ralph Breaks the Internet 60/90 Robin Hood 6/10 Green Book 6/11 Fantastic Beasts -50% The Grinch -35% Bohemian Rhapsody -25% Creed 2 will probably do a little better than Creed. Ralph's hype peaked months ago with the princess trailer, but I don't see why it won't at least open on par with Coco. Robin Hood will be DOA as anyone could have predicted from the first trailer. Green Book should start well. Fantastic Beasts probably won't have good WOM, but I can't see it dropping worse than Justice League. The Grinch will be hurt by Ralph, but its Thanksgiving, so it can have a decent hold.

Re: November 21-25 Predictions
I think Robin Hood may surprise a bit. Perhaps mid to high teens over the 5-day.

Re: November 21-25 Predictions
Creed II is the surprise for me. I'm thinking it will do $75 million 5-day. I think it's the big release of the weekend. And Ralph 2 will disappoint.

Grinch will still be doing great so no, Ralph will definitely not reach Moana heights.

Re: November 21-25 Predictions
I think Grinch can at least open above Coco but the big negative is that it opens on 2 weeks after Grinch. Still - the market will be able to accommodate both.

I feel very few people will pick to see Grinch again over Ralph so I don’t see what your point is. And Moana didn’t even do that amazing opening weekend. I think it would be disappointing for it to miss Moana, honestly.

And it's the perfect movie for families to see when the holidays kick off over Thanksgiving.

Is Creed II having previews on Tuesday? If so, does anyone know if it's 7pm or 9pm start?

Re: November 21-25 Predictions
I should be more excited for both of these movies. I'm sure I will enjoy them, but there is no rush to see them this weekend. Ralph just feels like another Disney flick and Creed feels like it still doesn't have Ryan Coogler.

Re: November 21-25 Predictions
I’d definitely be more excited for Ralph if it weren’t a sequel. It seems so far removed from the first film that they could have made it an original and kept more integrity as a studio. Like why does it have to be Ralph and Vanellope exploring the internet? It could have been new characters.

Don't understand how it's so far removed. The arcade is like a mini internet to them. This is taking it to the next, wait for it, level.

Re: November 21-25 Predictions
I think Grinch will beat Beasts for the 5 day but Beasts will do better for the three day.
3 Day 1. Ralph 56 2. Beasts 31 3. Grinch 28 4. Creed 26 5. Bohemian 11 6. Family 10 7. Widows 8 8. Hood 6

Re: November 21-25 Predictions
Family films are the second most difficult to analyze with social media metrics. That said, Ralph's numbers are concerning. It will have good holiday legs but concur Grinch is in control right now. Definitely don't see it opening higher than Moana with the data I'm reviewing.
The economy isn't as great as the fake news advertises, but that's more likely to reflect in holiday shopping and travel. Should be a pretty strong Thanksgiving weekend at the box office.

Robin Hood reviews are up and they are utterly atrocious. Question is, will they matter?

Robin Hood reviews are trash. No surprise really. I am surprised by the $10M+ predictions here though. Who is going to see this?
