I didn't see the first Creed and I think Robin Hood looks fun (plus Taron ). It's the only wide opener I plan on seeing.

Plus the box office is so busy during this stretch that I imagine Robin Hood can possibly benefit from other movies selling out if people didn't get their tickets to their first choice in advance.

On the other hand, it feels like the kind of movie you write off after seeing the reviews and then exceeds the low expectations because people just want to see something.

Yeah I really doubt anyone going to see it will be as hard on it as professional critics.

Decided to do Creed tonight at 10 pm after all and it had an old school midnight show feeling. A lot of young people packed around the concessions who later reactly loudly to the big parts of the film. And yeah Ralph was playing too, but the last showing was an hour earlier. I underestimated Creed and could it see it getting something like $4-6M in previews.
