Don't underestimate Grinch. It didn't do great in previews, but we have a lot of presales for our prime time showing tonight. That's not normal for our location with family movies. Usually it's Saturday with the big sales for them. Either it's drawing more than families, or the family draw is massive, based on our presale numbers.

Trolls previews were under $1m and still opened to $46m. This can still approach $65m. Weekend IM should be in the 3.5 range, too.

Well, if your prediction was 100+ okay.

But these previews are 30% higher than Zootopia, 230% higher than Nutcracker, 170% higher than Smallfoot. I'd say 70M+ is actually more likely than sub-60M.

Looks like $17M is the early Friday estimate. Could get $65M off that which would be great.

$17m would be outstanding, especially for a tepidly received film that is releasing early in the season. $65m would be the highest non-Disney animated bow in November.
