Fo sho! It will have the best hold yet of its run due to very very weak competition!

El Royale should have opened this weekend instead.

Yeah, probably. With no big release and more of a marketing push it could've pushed 10m this weekend.

God this weekend looks pathetic. I wonder why they moved Overlord out of this spot? It wouldn't have done big numbers, but I think opening it closer to Halloween would have been a much better idea than where its slotted now. Hell, El Royale probably would have been better off coming out this weekend too.

As it stands Halloween should have a great drop in the 55-59% range.

Hunter Killer looks to be a miss in the generally respectable submarine genre.

With virtually zero competition this weekend, $35m+ for Halloween shouldn't be difficult.

I'm sure it will do great. I wouldn't be totally shocked if it got the highest theater average so far this year. Wouldn't be that hard being that it's only in two theaters. I'm kind of glad they did that to make this easier to achieve.

Yay! I heard the premiere had a lot of walkouts throughout from someone who was there. I'm excited for it. That means I'll probably love it. And I trust you.

Competition affects big openers less than other movies.
