Expected solid number for First Man. Should clear $20m.

Very good number for Goosebumps. Previews started at 5pm, so it might skew projections. I figured tossing 'Haunted Halloween' at the end would help a bit.

White Boy Rick made the exact same amount in previews last month and went on to make $8.9m OW. El Royale could be a little more frontloaded.

Why do you think it would be more frontloaded? The Foreigner had a $4.7m Friday off $775 previews last year. I would think it would be at least on par with that ratio. I don't think $10m is ruled out.

Very good for Goosebumps. House With A Clock In Its Walls also started at 5 PM and did $840,000 on its way to a 26.6 Million weekend. Being that this is a sequel it might be a little more front-loaded, but it could crack 20 Million this weekend which would honestly be impressive. It also flew past Goosebump's Thursday number. I assume those previews started at 7 though?

Early estimates have First Man at $17M, Goosebumps at $16M, Bad Times $10M, Venom $30M and Star $28M. I guess that’s not terrible but kinda dull after last weekend.

ASIB is still over 10% of the weekend on a Thursday in October. I can’t remember the last time that happened, even for an R rated movie. Gravity and Gone Girl didn’t do it. The Sat. drop will be really small.

A 120% Friday increase for Venom should be attainable given post Columbus Day trends. Won't be surprised with a $32m+ second weekend.

ASIB should see at least a 100% increase.
