The new Harley Quinn flick will be released February 7, 2020. Probably was supposed to get the VD spot but moved cause of Bond. How do you guys think it'll do? |

I think we will get a better idea about how it'll do after a teaser but Harley Quinn is super popular, I think with the right marketing (man Squad's marketing was one of the best ever) this will be big. Also... this and Joker are the only comic book films until Black Widow in May. |

With no Spider-Man I do wonder who is going to be the "main" Avenger now and what effect that's going to have on the grosses. Peter Quail seemed like it but Infinity War kind of emasculated his character and I don't know, Chris Pratt hasn't turned out quite the superstar the industry seemed intent on making him. |

Obviously Ant-Man, Strange and Marvel will be in the mix, and there is Smart Hulk and Thor. I think that is when Fantastic Four and X-men will start playing in. Didn't Mr. Elastic take over for Fury or was the head at some point? Maybe they will explain the Mutant Gene starting to come out as a result of the snap. |

I don't think the delay had anything to do with quality though did it? This film should be good for at least $200m. They need a trailer/teaser in front of Joker though. |

ViewerAnon is like 50/50 for his test screening to responses to critical and audience reception predictions. A few months ago when everyone was saying JOKER script wasnt very good, he came out & said that's too bad because the films testing great & look at this. ViewerAnon has said both BIRDS OF PREY and WW84 have tested very well & he thinks both will be well received. Would be something if WB/DC can have 3 straight over performers in Joker, BOP, and WW84 in the lead up to 2021's return of the king in THE BATMAN. Now if they could only get a Cavill-Supes sequel with JJ Abrams off the ground. |

Of course it has nothing to do with quality. It was set for December - right against Jumanji and SW. Not the best slot, Christmas or not. Then it didn't have many choices left: with Birds in February, Mulan + Onward in March and Black Widow in May, they thought of just giving it the slot that worked so well with the first movie. Also, as much as I don't like the early June slot, WW84 doesn't have to deal with much competition there. BW is no Avengers and will be basically done by the time Diana comes out, Scooby will be a modest success at best, F9 is a 200M movie with a fanbase, Artemis Fowl will likely fail. So there's just Soul, which isn't even a direct competitor. |

WB/DC are apparently doing the same thing with Birds of Prey this weekend as they did with Tenet. The teaser will only be released in theaters in front of It. |
