Lousy weekend, maybe House can overperform, but I think it opens in the same range as other live action kids movies.

Also, Predator, Nun and Simple Favor will all probably gross around 10m, so it will be close for number 2.

House will definitely top the weekend.


Can't wait for Assassination Nation, which despite what BOM says is also going to be a wide release.

Yep House should win this weekend though mostly because of Friday.

Does Clock and Goosebumps 2 count as a Deep Impact/Armageddon situation? And will it confuse people?

It looks decent and Black is hot after making his all-time best performance in a $400M blockbuster. But I'm still feeling like it will have a weak gross because of that Goosebumps thing. And the bad title doesn't help. $14M

If anything Clock coming before Goosebumps 2 will hurt the latter. With Black being involved this probably seems more like a Goosebumps sequel.

I voted for Predator in the poll but after that Saturday it seems likely to drop over 60%, probably closer to the 66% The Nun experienced. I’ll switch my vote to A Simple Favor.

Agreed. Goosebumps 2 will flop and Clock looks much better and likely a proper sequel to Goosebumps.

Looks like the garbage truck dumped all over the Life Itself reviews.

At this rate, I'd be impressed if Life Itself opened better than $3m. Heck, a sub-$1000 PTA is not out of the question.

I'm glad I'm not the only one having problems. It won't update on my laptop or phone. But a friend had no problem viewing it.
