Out on 75. But if it’s good and he dies /truly closes things out with the character maybe 40-50.

Come on

Come on what? Me and Dil were not talking about the film's box office performances. It even says that in the part you quoted.

You often do this. You really want to school people on a particular point, but nobody has posted about it yet for you to correct them, so you just quote anything and go for it. If we were actually talking about box office, I'd agree with all you said. But we weren't.

School you? What is this the early 90s? Which by the way is when this club would make sense

This is a box office thread. So I am talking about Box-office. You can talk about whatever you want. But if you make outrageous claims that Bullet to the Head, Grudge Match, or even the first Escape Plan which were heavily marketed starring vehicles for him and failed don't count. I'll make a comment. Outside of the Rocky franchise (And I guess you can call Rambo a hit) The man hasn't starred in a hit by himself in 24 years (Specialist was his last bonafide hit)

If that wasn't your intention then I apologize for misunderstanding.

Please do, but don't quote me as if you're challenging what I'm saying, because you challenged a claim that wasn't being stated.

LOL. How moronic can you actually be? Nobody made that claim.

Seriously, gun, you have a serious superiority complex where you feel compelled to come into threads and just correct people and spread your superior knowledge ... even when it has NOTHING to do with what's being discussed.

Which would make it very impressive if this club becomes a success actually, yet it doesn't feel like a stretch either, hence I'm in.

Looking through Stallone/ Rambo's box office history, how come Rambo's legs were so poor? Its cinemascore was an A- even.

It's not really a complex if it's true

Algren wrote:

And you're right. Nobody said that. :funny:

But go ahead, call me a dumb fucking asshole if that works for you. All I asked was that you explain that point. I'm genuinely interested to read your elaboration on the point you were trying to make

Very poor release date. March 08 was not what is today. And the marketing was really bad. I was excited just because I love Stallone but that is a bad trailer

And that was 62 year old Rambo who could still play the game, not sure how 73 old Rambo will play.

Jesus Christ! I've never known anyone find it so difficult to comprehend a message board discussion before.

I do agree that Thegun sometimes misses the posts he quotes but it doesn't really matter here because what he was saying did get discussed in the same thread.

Its easy to really just go to his point if you still feel like discussing it otherwise just ignore.

No, I will not ignore it. Especially not when he quotes me and says "come on" as if I've made a wild claim, but it's actually him that's got the wrong end of the stick.

Come on Sparrow!

And I'm not wrong Algren. If I am please prove it and I'll accept it.

The bit is played though, Here's hoping for a hit. But it won't happen in the states.

So this comes out on 20th September 2019, and that kills this club.

I'm curious about the trailer too and I don't think the release date is that bad honestly. It's coming out two weeks after It: Chapter 2 which is more than enough time for a movie like this to have some breathing room. I'm mostly just hoping the movie is good though, because that's all I really care about.

Depends on the trailer honestly. And final release date.

Amazon has exclusive SVOD rights to this in the US. Almost surprised they didn't just take domestic in general as they're not opposed to theatrical.

I've just seen the trailer. It looks fucking awesome, but unfortunately it doesn't feel like a Rambo movie. But I cannot wait for it. It is going to be bloody.

It looks good, but it doesn't feel like Rambo at all which is kind of a problem IMO.

I liked the trailer, it's different than before, but I think that's a good thing, this could be a great film to close his story.

Not a big fan of the trailer. It could be great, but now I wouldn't be surprised if opened under 10 million. It's that movie you want to do John Wick 3 numbers, and it'll end up doing Crank 2 numbers. Just be a good movie! That's all you can really hope for.

Looks interesting. I feel like a bigger splash might have been made if this was just a SVOD release.

I mean yeah using a popular song has never hurt the marketing for a movie before, but as far as a trailer goes it honestly just looks ok IMO. I liked the Cannes trailer far more, especially the song choice. I'm still not quite convinced this will even outgross the last movie unless the OW is well over $20M.
