Disney’s Memorial Day releases have been cursed ever since prince of Persia. How Disney is gonna fuck this one up I don’t know. The only thing I can think of is The Lion King stealing it’s hype, but even then Aladdin sold the second most amount of tickets since the start of the Renaissance and should have enough of its own hype. Really there’s no reason it couldn’t make more than Beauty and the Beast (2017) if Disney picked a good release date and the trailers showed what people want to see. |
