Not too surprised by these, though Skyskrapers previews suggested it might avoid getting demolished.

I was thinking Skyscraper could pull out something closer to $30 mil. Man, that's not good. Will probably miss $50 mil total with that.

Skyscraper looks like a turd. It was made for the Chinese market so anything it makes stateside is a bonus.

So a brief return for Johnson to Walking Tall-Faster-Snitch-sized box office.

It’s basically the same as Baywatch. Saying yes to everything has consequences, though he might have skipped Jumanji if he was more selective.

$21m would be better than those movies.

If that was really true, China would have got it before the US, and it would have featured actual Chinese stars, not Asian-Americans.

Jurassic World should have opened this weekend.

That would have been good. It would have meant that Skyscraper would move to a less profitable time, and it would have given Incredibles 2 more breathing room.

I hope all those numbers go up. Especially Ant-Man and HT3

Ant-Man and The Wasp is getting wrecked. People are just not interested apparently. Though Homecoming also had a 62% week 2 drop and recovered decently afterwards.

Skyscraper recovered decently enough. The Rock no longer has to throw this into his flop pile, it can coexist with Hercules in the pile of the forgotten.

Both the openers did average numbers, yet all holdovers got mauled (not a single sub-50% Fri-to-Fri drop in the top 10). Granted, IMs will be a lot better this weekend, but still...

Sure it was following a 600 mil film, but Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom's performance is pretty good in my opinion

So the first part is looking to finish around 65 to 70 million total on a 13 million dollar budget. That's pretty much the same total as a second and third film. Very good.

HT3 took in $1.3m in "Amazon Prime showings", according to BOM. What does that mean? I thought Amazon Prime was a delivery service

Is it video-on-demand? If so, that's great that we now get figures for a VOD service.

Is Ant-Man/Wasp going to miss $200m? Looks like it could.

Two weeks ago they had a special deal where you could go to an early screening. You bought the tickets through Amazon Prime. That's it. Almost like the Walmart Man of Steel thing.

Great. Thanks.

So not that special really. But still cool that it's included.

Ant and Waspy had a huge preview, so the big week to week drop comparing Fridays should be expected. The Saturday to Saturday drop will be more telling

Sat/Sun drops were only down about 50% or so.

Nice seeing Eighth Grade having the highest PTA this year with $65k. Taking the glory away from Isle of Dogs, the previous yearly high, with $60k. Infinity War is 3rd with $57k, 2001 re-issue is 4th with $50k and Bland Panther rounds out the top five also with $50k.
