 Re: Shazam! Predictions (April 5, 2019) I was hoping this would compare to Sam Raimi's Spider-Man. But after seeing the second trailer, I think this will be less appealing to women and families in general.
I am still rooting for over $200m.

Would be kinda cool if Us, Dumbo and this opened with 70m+.

Re: Shazam! Predictions (April 5, 2019) I'm a little baffled by the predictions and confidence in this movie. Judging by the trailer alone I would've guessed something like $30m/$95m. But... great reviews / reception, comic book movies don't seem to be dying if anything they're maintaining / gaining steam, also I'm not really connected to pop culture so no idea what the buzz is.
