Re: Captain Marvel Predictions
Think by now they should have finished shooting most of Avengers 4 if not all of it.

Re: Captain Marvel Predictions
I was surprised as well. They never report numbers specially for American movies but when they do they are correct.

Looks great. Was that the last Blockbuster store in the US I saw at the start?

Re: Captain Marvel Predictions
Trailer was a little on the safer side, but I liked it. It seems to be getting a lot of buzz too, although considering its going to be so heavily tied to Avengers 4 it makes sense.

Glad that Larson has lost her flab. She looks much better.

Re: Captain Marvel Predictions
This looks good but the trailer was trying to show too many things without first building the connection with the character.
Still this will be big. I'd say $110m OW with $300m total

I highly doubt this will have better legs than Wonder Woman.

Cats are underrepresented in superhero films. I’d like her more if she had one.

Re: Captain Marvel Predictions
I've just seen a news story about Captain Marvel being a game-changer. I'm not sure I agree, or maybe I just don't see it. I'm sure it will still be big. Somewhere in the region of $300-$400 million in the US, but I do not see it being a "game-changer" because Wonder Woman already owns that title. I actually think it will be one of those one-sided releases where the US has nearly 50% of the worldwide revenue, unless it actually has a lot of connections to Infinity War Part 2 (which being set in the 90s, is doubtful).

$140 million opening/$370 million total. Worldwide will be in the same ballpark as Thor Ragnarok. So around $480 million from overseas.

Re: Captain Marvel Predictions
Para's prediction is a very realistic one, money maker for sure, but no way it gets close to $1b worldwide.
