That's about 68% higher than Deadpool's Wednesday. If that pace continues, it would finish at $598m.

Damn it I was hoping for 15m+

About expected otherwise this would have crossed TFA at it's initial pace. Also February is definitely a big factor in comparatively weaker weekdays

Actual's are going to push it over 15, still good though, my hype let me think by tomorrow we'd hit 300m

The actual will be very close to $14.5 million.

30% was to be expected. Discount Tuesdays have been getting bigger and so it made sense that it would drop a bit more than Deadpool did.

I'm thinking it gets about a 13.5m Thursday, 27m Friday, 40m Saturday, and 28m Sunday. 386m 10-day gross, third highest ever.

$95m seems like a pretty good prediction for the weekend. I'm hoping for $100m. That's a really nice number. :D

Actual is $14,688,057...that is 70.4% above Deadpool. If it can keep this pace it will reach $600m.

Fifty Shades is going to make it to 100 Million. Impressive. Won't end up falling much from the previous film.

Impressive? LOL. Each new film has made less. You have some weird barometer for impressiveness.

Well most didn't think this one would reach 100 Million. Especially after its opening. I am kind of impressed the series didn't fall farther after the first.

It hasn't made $100m yet. It dropped softly on its 2nd weekend because that was Valentine's weekend (you can see by VD just how much a movies like that get a boost). I think it might drop like a rock from here on out, just like the second did. It honestly could still miss $100m. The second made $23m more after Valentine's weekend, and it already had $91m. This one had $78m, and it opened to less so it ain't grossing a further $23m. I'm hoping it misses $100m. But it could land anywhere from $93m-$101m.

Whether it’s $95m or $100m, with OS grosses it will be profitable, especially with its budget.

There is no question over its profitability. But grossing $100m as opposed to grossing just $95m is a big difference to how this will be perceived.

Yeah I wouldn't count $100m as impressive but definitely not a BIG drop as expected. Darker did $20m from its 13th day on a slightly higher dailies so I wouldn't say that Freed is a lock for $100m just yet but regardless the drop is looking to be mild from last movie, maybe being the last movie helped in this case.

Still sure about that? ;)

Even with a free fall Freed should get past $100m mark now. Pretty decent holds.

Yes, it is. Took me a while to see it. My will got in the way of my logic for a while there!

It'll probably drop 12-13m from the second. Still a drop, which is never good. But sure, most people probably expected a steeper drop.

The drops for Freed were better which helped its theater count and thus even better holds. I also think Universal will keep this one for more than 7 weeks in theaters unlike Darker even though the PTA dropped.
