The movie title hurts it. Everyone is seeing it solo. No wonder it is not doing great business without couples and grouples.

That is absolutely what went wrong here.

All the reports I'm seeing are chalking it up as a resounding success. It's got the preview record for MD and apparently it's going to beat AWE. But I just cannot be as positive about the numbers I'm seeing.

It's not going to get the record. I think those were the weekend projection reports that would be adjusted down now

Just bad scheduling, wasn't rooting for it to bomb. I really liked Rogue One as a spinoff. Even August or September would've been good for this. Oh well, Disney can't win them all, they're already winning too much :p

Major props to Barrabás for making this club. I really couldn't believe a sub $100M OW for Star Wars movie, but lord and behold it has happend. It also looks like it will barely be over $100M for the 4-Day and that's if it doesn't decrease with actuals.

Have told this before but will say again Incredible success on this club. It might succeed for 4-day with actuals.

With Rth's recent update on a possible uptick from estimates it looks like Solo will get past $100m 4-day mark in the end. Was hoping for it to go under for this club to get another success

As much as I love Star Wars, I am a glad this happened, Disney needs to stop this bs!

She wants to piss on the fans that made the brand then that's her choice. She'll get replaced eventually. What android is screaming for equal rights? What was that? Now I actually liked TLJ and TFA and RO. Solo left me a bit meh. Didn't hate it like some easily offended TLJ critics but it felt a bit prequelish in that it's so early in the timeline that it has to match/lead into things in the future and that doesn't help anything. Then this Boba Fett annoucement...I'm like...what for? Is that supposed to get me excited about anything? Maybe if QT directs it and it's rated R. Lastly, that China opening was pathetic. I wouldn't say give up but they need to cast Jackie Chan or Vin Diesel in the next Star Wars spin off. Make Vin Diesel Boba Fett...how about that.

There's no way they'll actually let him in Star Wars. They only let him in to the MCU because he was heard but not seen (and really is he even heard? very hard to tell it's his voice).

I just want Vin for the Chinese money. That's all. He'll be under a mask for 90% of the film anyway.
