Yeah no. Interest is far below Rogue One.

I'd rather join a under $100m OW club.

I think the chances of $500m in its current release are very very slim.

It does have a better chance of ending up under $350m at this stage. If its good it may be able to leg it above $400m but barely.

Even though the film is unwarranted, it is strangely now a bit of an underdog and I want it to succeed.

I'd say $400m total for now though it's a SW film so you never know.

It’s got 3 weekends to itself before the double attack of Incredibles 2 on June 15th and JW2 on the 22nd.
Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s well past 400m by then.
Holdovers of Infinity War & Deadpool2 wont hurt it as much as people think they will.

Disney is a fucking machine and all 3 (IW,Solo,Incred2) of their big summer movies will top 400m minimum domestically.
With IW & Solo topping 500m.

Hasbro's stock was hit by lackluster SW sales. So the movie wasn't the only thing that underwhelmed. Solo will need to overcome lackluster response despite it being the top film of last year.

Would be very disappointing if IW ends with "just" $475m. I am still not sure if DP will manage to cross $300m again. The first one had perfect storm of events, I feel this will be more like AoU in terms of opening and legs.

Yeah it should open big so that $150m isn't completely unbelievable but $500m is still a big stretch from that opening.

Only $150m? Wow. Pathetically low. That would be the lowest opening in the SW franchise for THIRTEEN YEARS!

Considering there hasn't been one ounce of positive publicity for the film and the complete lack of Harrison Ford, I'd consider $150m a win. But, there's still a lot of time for tracking to go down.

I'm a huge SW fan but have so little excitement for this. Is it too late to recast?

This trailer that's coming out tonight needs to be AMAZING IMO. They need to jump start the hype for this movie in a big way and considering it's likely going to be attached to IW it needs to deliver and actually get casuals excited just as much as SW fans. They will show up anyways, but in order for this movie to really breakout they need to get the general audiences back.
